Feeling sick, Happy Good Friday and Easter =)

wow wow wow....it's totally been awhile this time round. DH left and I got into a routine. Rarely got the chance to get unto the pc to post. Even if I do/did, it'll be like super fast on and off...if that makes any sense.

I decided to relist some stuff on Etsy again. Start to pick up bowmaking again. I've been preety laid back. Totally!.

I'm also down with something. Blocked sinus (not infection, thank gawd) and now coughing. Oh man,..i feel miserable. Body aches and feverish feeling. Doctor? Hummpph...didn't get the chance to go before Good Friday. Didn't realize our Dr is CLOSED for Good Friday given their office hrs is 8-12 on Friday. Bummer. I'm feeling a tad better as long as I take my Motrin and Tylenol, alt. Mummy is aliveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....yay! Let's hope I get even more better throughout the weekend as the kiddos has a 4 days weekends this week. Yay!!!

well...will blog more/soon again. Kiddos are having fun playing outside as I wrote this entry.

Kiddos are sick... =(

Sooooo...*sighs*...long night last night and my poor babies, DD and youngest DS, has diarrhea and vomitting. It's past midday when I wrote this: they havn't managed to hold anything down (to be expected). Called our Dr and I picked up their meds with no *accidents* in my car. I did, however, gave them each a ziplock bag and a handtowel: just in case they throw up again. Loads of laundry from last nights ordeal needed to be done: mink blankets, 2 bedsheets and some pillowcases. Yeaps, they got my bed. But it's ok. All I want is them both get better. It's breaking my heart they're miserably sick. =(

Hopefully, tomorrow they'll get better. Prayers.....

=( =( and just plain tired me.... =( =( I wish my DH is home right now but that's not a possibility. =( =(

No crafting....out of the question with chores to do....

Prayer

So, DH left last night for his 7 months deployment. I don't know what I'm feeling...lost, sad etc etc etc...who knows. BUT, I think this parting was much better than the '07 deployment. We, DH & I, did much better.

Children are doing exceptional well. DD Bri and DS Peyton did asked/said "Where's Daddy" "I miss my Daddy"...=(

Not much going on today...trying to keep my mind busy...it's crazy *in* there...sighsss...

I leave with this prayer. My good friend/adopted-stepmom (lol) Pat gave this when DH was deployed in '07.

Dear Lord,

Give me the greatness of heart to see
the difference between duty
and his love for me & our children.

Give me a task to do each day,
to fill the time when he is away.

When he is in a foreign land,
keep him safe in your loving hand.

And, when duty is in the field,
please protect him and be his shield.

And Lord, when deployment is so long,
please stay with me and keep me strong.

As I worrying myself ever since I know where he's going, DH just informed/called me that he's not going to the initial country that he was supposed to go. Yay!! Not that the new destination is much safe but it's much better than the initial one....phewwww...I'm relieved.... but still sad...Who says separation is easy...pfffft!...

wow...it's really been awhile, yet again.. I'm soooo bad in blogging...lol...

My hubby will deploy here in the next few days for 7 mths..arrgghh the horror...We're sad but we'll make do and make this deployment thru, one way or another. This is, after all, not our first nor will it be the last...

I haven't been making bows lately (nor blogging..lol) only because I was HOOKED! Crocheting is just addicting. I've come to realize, it's not about practice, practice...but it's about knowing how to read instructions..lol..Well, ok, practice is needed when it comes to crocheting an even tension from start to finish of ones project.. =) I'm making progress...slowly but surely... :D

It's been awhile, yet again. =) I've been working on crocheting a couple of hats. Bucket style hat and of course, my absolute FAV!, mickey mouse hat.

well.... I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...lol... All 3 kiddos LOVE the hat that I've made for them.

aha, NO SCHOOL today. Icy road(s). VERY icy road(s). We watched the news around 6am this morning for school cancellation.



We're guessing tomorrow, either 1) school cancelled again, or 2) Delayed 2 hrs. (Meaning, kiddos don't hv to be at school until 10am due to the weather condition)


*Raining*/ falling / drizzling sleet!! Since winter started it has to be late Jan?!?..lol.. Am still crossing fingers for NO SNOW :D Altho, I don't think my children share that sentiment of no snow. They're dying to see/play snow. They even thought the sleet was snow..lol..Very cute!

I, personally don't think snow is cute unless it snows during the summer...pffffft! Wishful thinking me. =) I can take the heat but not the cold. :D

What I've been up to today? Well, bought my first crochet pattern today. Mickey Mouse!!!! I love Mickey/Minnie Mouse. Ok, so I'm not a seasoned crocheter. I'm a beginner. If I can rate myself, I'd rate me at 0 (with 10 being the advanced crocheter). lol... Here's my 1st attempt:
